He is currently a successful advertising and marketing executive in Connecticut and has worked throughout the metropolitan area for over 26 years in art direction, graphic design, illustration, photography, and print production. With over 50 awards in art direction and design, Robert has been continually recognized throughout his career for his creative excellence. His expertise in directing creative, graphic design, and production is complemented by his skills as an effective speaker, motivator, and leader.

Spending most of his free time painting, Robert works predominately in watercolors and acrylics. His dry brush watercolor technique and unique compositions of New England landscapes and floral still lifes have gained popular recognition throughout the U.S. His realistic style and use of strong colors bring each work of art to life, separating him from the more traditional fine art painters.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Abriola has also lived in Palm Beach, Fl., Newport, RI., and travels frequently to Cape Cod where he acquires his inspiration for painting. His work has been shown in many invitational shows and are in many private collections across the country.
